League Classic Council & Voting Power Guide

The Council is League Classic’s community voting system for future champions, Classic skins, and selected gameplay changes. You vote in the official client — not on this site. Classic Level 5 unlocks Council access. Levels 15 and 25 each grant 1 Council Voting Power on the free Classic Level track. Pass “Council Vote” items are a separate source. Riot still owns health and balance.

No verified open ballot is published on this guide. Confirm any live ballot only in the official client.

Council Voting Power: quick answer

Where to vote?
League Classic client only when a ballot is open. This site never hosts a ballot.
Level 5 / 15 / 25
Level 5 unlocks Council access (“You can now vote in The Council”). Levels 15 and 25 each grant 1 Council Voting Power on the free Classic Level track (Support Progression). Level 5 is access only — not a grant of 1 Voting Power.
What is The Council?
Classic’s player-facing community vote for future champions, Classic skins, and selected gameplay changes (/dev). Riot still owns health and balance.
Voting Power vs Pass item
Free Classic Level track: Levels 15 and 25 each grant 1 Council Voting Power. Separately, Act I Pass tables list “1 Council Vote” on certain free/Premium tiers — a Pass reward row, not the same source as Level Voting Power.
This guide verifies?
System facts and published ballots with sources — never invented options, percentages, deadlines, or Voting Power formulas.

Classic Level route

Free track only. Levels are listed as real text — color is not the only cue.

  1. Level 5Access to The Council

Support Progression: “You can now vote in The Council.” Free Classic Level track.

  2. Level 151 Council Voting Power

Free Classic Level track reward — not a Pass reward row.

  3. Level 251 Council Voting Power

Second free-track Voting Power reward on the same Level table.

Next actionOpen the official League Classic client when a ballot is live. Cast votes only in-client — this site never hosts options, percentages, winners, or countdowns.

How it works (4 steps)

  1. Reach Classic Account Level 5 for Council access. Riot Support’s Progression table states at Level 5: “You can now vote in The Council.” Access is on the free Classic Level track — not a website unlock.
  2. Earn Council Voting Power at Levels 15 and 25. The same free Classic Level track lists “1 Council Voting Power” at Level 15 and again at Level 25. That is separate from Pass reward rows named “1 Council Vote.”
  3. Open the ballot in the League client. Confirm a live ballot only when the League Classic client shows one (options, eligibility, end time). Cast votes only in-client — this guide never hosts a ballot.
  4. Wait for verified results. Outcomes appear here only after in-client or official sources confirm them. We never invent tallies, winners, or mode changes.

What votes can influence

Player vote topics (high level)

  • Future champions for Classic
  • Classic skins
  • Selected gameplay changes

Source: official /dev overview — not a live ballot list.

Still controlled by the game operator

  • Overall health and balance of the mode
  • Whether any given season has an open vote
  • Authoritative options, rules, and end times in-client

This site does not cast votes and cannot change game rules.

Current vote status

Current ballot: no verified open ballot is published on this guide yet.

Announced roadmap dates above are not the same as an open ballot. Live options, end times, and eligibility only come from the League Classic client (or an official ballot post we can source). We do not invent a current vote so search engines and players are not misled.

  1. Open League of Legends and enter League Classic.
  2. Open the Council panel if the client shows a live vote.
  3. Read options and the end time before casting in-client.

Published ballots

No published Council vote pages yet. We never invent options, percentages, or outcomes.

Get ready for the next vote

You can prepare even when this guide has no published ballot:

  • Reach Classic Account Level 5 for Council access (Support Progression: “You can now vote in The Council”).
  • Progress toward Level 15 and Level 25 free-track rewards of 1 Council Voting Power each (same Support Progression table).
  • Optionally claim Classic Pass: Act I tiers that list 1 Council Vote on free or Premium tracks — a Pass reward-table item, not the Level 15/25 Voting Power rows (Support Pass tables).
  • Use the Tracker to remember “open the Council panel” and “cast in-client” when the client shows a live ballot.

The Council is Classic’s community vote

The Council is Riot’s community voting system for Classic’s direction: future champions, Classic skins, and selected gameplay changes. Riot still owns health and balance.

systemVerified

Riot Support’s Classic Progression table lists Classic Account Level 5 as: “You can now vote in The Council.” That is access to vote — not a Pass-only gate.

Distinct from Level 15/25 “Council Voting Power” rewards and from Pass “Council Vote” items.

unlockVerified

The same free Classic Account Level track lists “1 Council Voting Power” at Level 15 and again at Level 25 (Riot Support Progression).

These rows are free-track Classic Level rewards. They are not the same string as Act I Pass “1 Council Vote” reward items.

unlockVerified

Classic Pass: Act I reward tables list “1 Council Vote” as free- and Premium-track rewards on certain tiers (see Support Pass tables).

This documents Pass loot rows named “Council Vote.” It is not the Classic Level “Council Voting Power” table, and it is not a live ballot listing.

This site is not a voting tool. Open the Council panel in-client when a vote is live.

Common questions

When is the first League Classic Council vote?
The official League of Legends roadmap lists the first Council voting round for Aug 26, 2026 (Patch 26.17), and a second for Sep 23, 2026 (Patch 26.19). Ballot options and exact opening/closing times have not been published in the sources checked. No verified open ballot is published on this guide yet — confirm any live ballot only in the official League Classic client.
Where do I cast a Council vote?
Through the League Classic client surface when a vote is open. There is no third-party vote on this site.
Can I vote on this website?
No. LoL Classic Guide is an unofficial information resource. Ballots are cast only in Riot’s client.
When can I start voting in The Council?
Riot Support’s Classic Progression table lists Classic Account Level 5 as: “You can now vote in The Council.” Confirm any live ballot in the client.
Is Council Voting Power locked behind Premium Pass?
The free Classic Account Level track lists “1 Council Voting Power” at Level 15 and Level 25 (Riot Support Progression). Separately, Classic Pass: Act I tables list “1 Council Vote” as free- and Premium-track rewards on certain tiers (Support Pass). Those are different table rows; this guide does not invent how the client combines them beyond what those official tables state.
How do I know if a vote is open right now?
Only treat a vote as live when the League Classic client shows an open ballot. This guide lists ballots only after verification — absence here does not invent a closed or open status for you. Official roadmap dates (Aug 26 and Sep 23, 2026) are announced schedule, not proof a ballot is open.
When will results appear here?
After options, end time, and outcomes are confirmed from in-client or official sources with a verification date. We never invent tallies or winners.
What can Council votes influence?
At a high level: future champions, Classic skins, and selected gameplay changes (/dev). Riot still owns health and balance of the mode.
