Timeline / Deadline Planner
How times work
Official Riot windows are listed in Pacific Time (PT). That is the schedule source of truth — not a clock you need to convert by hand.
Your browser is set to UTC. Local wall-clock appears under each official time when it differs.
Countdown language is secondary only. Pins save on this device.

Use the planner as a decision aid
A deadline list is useful only when it changes what you do next. This planner separates current, upcoming, and ended windows so you can decide whether to play now, set a reminder, or stop planning around an event that has already closed. Each row uses an absolute date and time zone instead of a vague label such as “soon.” That makes the reminder portable across regions and less likely to be misread after a patch.
Start by identifying the action attached to the date. Pass progress, pass deactivation, and Council voting are different events. A pass progress deadline answers when earning or advancing stops. A later deactivation date is a final account-management window, not extra progression time. An announced Council date tells you when to check the client; it does not prove that a ballot is already open or reveal its exact closing hour.
A five-step deadline workflow
- Name the decision. Decide whether you need to earn progress, spend existing currency, open the client for a ballot, or simply record an ended event for reference.
- Check the event type. Use the planner filter to separate Pass, Council, patch, and general season dates. Similar dates can govern different actions.
- Read the absolute time. Keep the published time zone with the event. Do not silently convert a Pacific deadline into a local date and then forget which day changed.
- Confirm the live state. Before spending money, currency, or a limited vote, open the League client and check that the current notice agrees with the saved reminder.
- Choose one reminder path. Pin the event to the device-local Progress Tracker or download the single-event calendar file. Avoid duplicate reminders that make an old date look current.
Which date should you pin?
For Pass progress
Pin the progress end if your goal is to finish missions or unlock another tier. Work backward from that cutoff and leave time to check that progress registered. The planner deliberately does not estimate matches per tier because mission availability, payouts, and your remaining balance can differ. Use the Act I guide to compare the free and Premium routes, then verify your own state in-client.
For unspent Pass currency
Pin deactivation separately when you already have coins or unlocked choices to review. Do not treat the gap between progress ending and deactivation as a bonus earning period. It is safer to make the spending decision before the earlier cutoff and use the later date as a recovery reminder.
For Council voting
Pin an announced Council date as a prompt to open the client. Ballot options, exact hours, and results stay unconfirmed until they appear in-client or in a checked announcement. Review how Council works before a vote so you can distinguish access, Voting Power, and Pass vote items.
Three practical planning scenarios
You are starting the Pass late
First check the progress end, not the deactivation date. Open your live missions and current coin balance, then choose a realistic target from what is visible on your account. The site can explain the system and organize deadlines, but it cannot see your progress or promise that a particular reward remains reachable.
Two deadlines fall in the same week
Prioritize irreversible actions. A vote that closes cannot be cast later, and expired progress cannot be earned afterward. Calendar export is most useful here: create one event per action with a clear title, rather than a single generic “League Classic” reminder that hides what must be done.
The client disagrees with the planner
Follow the live client for your account and region. Then use the correction link below to report the mismatch. Include the event name, displayed time zone, and where you saw the newer date, but do not send account identifiers, email addresses, purchase receipts, or private screenshots.
What the planner does and does not assume
- It publishes confirmed windows with a source and verification date; it does not fill gaps with predicted patch cadence.
- It distinguishes scheduled, current, and ended events; it does not label an announced Council date as an open ballot.
- It helps compare deadlines; it does not calculate an account-specific completion probability or recommend a purchase.
- It exports a reminder; it does not sync with Riot, read match history, or alter in-client progress.
Keep reminders accurate
Treat every saved reminder as a snapshot, not a permanent promise. Check the visible verification date when returning after a patch. If a deadline changes, delete the old calendar event before exporting the replacement. Ended events remain visible for chronology and correction work, but their presence does not mean the activity can still be completed.
Pins are stored only in this browser on this device. They are not account records and are not restored automatically on another device. The planner does not ask for a Riot login, email address, summoner name, or phone number. For broader routing, use the Guides hub; for current objectives, check the Missions guide.
We do not invent pass, Council, or season end dates. When a window is verified, it is added to the published events list and kept after it ends for history.
