League Classic Council vote: dates & current status

The official roadmap lists the first Council voting round for Aug 26, 2026 (Patch 26.17), and a second for Sep 23, 2026 (Patch 26.19). Those are announced calendar dates — not proof a ballot is open. This page separates that schedule from any verified open ballot we publish here. Cast votes only in the official League Classic client.

Announced roadmap dates above are not the same as an open ballot. Live options, end times, and eligibility only come from the League Classic client (or an official ballot post we can source). We do not invent a current vote so search engines and players are not misled.

  1. Open League of Legends and enter League Classic.
  2. Open the Council panel if the client shows a live vote.
  3. Read options and the end time before casting in-client.

Check the client ballot

Roadmap dates do not open a ballot by themselves. Only treat a vote as live when the League Classic client shows options, eligibility, and an end time — then cast in-client only.

  • Access: Classic Account Level 5 — “You can now vote in The Council” (Support Progression).
  • Voting Power: free-track Level 15 and Level 25 each list “1 Council Voting Power” (same Progression table).
  • Pass item: Act I tables list “1 Council Vote” on certain free/Premium tiers (Support Pass) — not the same row as Level 15/25 Voting Power.

None of those tables prove a ballot is open right now. Confirm live votes only in the client.

Get ready for the next vote

You can prepare even when this guide has no published ballot:

  • Reach Classic Account Level 5 for Council access (Support Progression: “You can now vote in The Council”).
  • Progress toward Level 15 and Level 25 free-track rewards of 1 Council Voting Power each (same Support Progression table).
  • Optionally claim Classic Pass: Act I tiers that list 1 Council Vote on free or Premium tracks — a Pass reward-table item, not the Level 15/25 Voting Power rows (Support Pass tables).
  • Use the Tracker to remember “open the Council panel” and “cast in-client” when the client shows a live ballot.
